What the Scanner Does
Searches eBay sold comps, hobbyDB catalog data, collector forums, and Facebook groups using AI to find underpriced cars, active buyers, and broker flip opportunities — all in one run.
Scan For
Buy Opportunities — cars listed below comp value. The scanner estimates the spread vs. recent sold comps and flags anything worth pursuing.
Active Buyers — collectors posting WTB or ISO in forums and groups. These are potential sell targets for cars already in your vault.
Broker Flips — source cheap in one market, sell higher in another. The scanner identifies arbitrage gaps across platforms.
Deal Threshold
Controls the minimum discount vs. market comps before a listing gets flagged.
Any — surface everything worth noting, including underrated lots and motivated sellers.
10–15% — solid deals, good for regular hunting. A reliable buy-and-hold floor.
25% — strong buys only. Less noise, higher confidence.
40%+ — steals only. Rare, but these are your high-conviction flips.
You can type any number — 7%, 33%, whatever fits your margin target.
Reading Urgency Ratings
Each result card has an urgency badge the AI assigns based on rarity, market activity, and spread size.
HIGH — act fast. Rare casting, active market, or closing soon.
MEDIUM — good opportunity. Patient buyer wins.
LOW — worth watching, no rush.
Click any badge to override the rating with your own read.
Save / Watch / Pass
Save to Intel — logs the result to Market Intel for tracking.
Watch — bookmarks without committing. Good for "keep an eye on this."
Pass — suppresses this seller or item from future scans.
Use the checkbox + Select All bar to bulk-save strong results in one click.
Assessment
After a scan completes, the Assessment button appears next to Run. It generates a structured plain-English summary of what the scan found — Top Opportunity, Buyer Intel, and a recommended action — with a Copy button to paste anywhere.
